The EPA released their FY2003 Phase I solicitation along with three special SBIR Phase I solicitations. All solicitations have the same opening date of March 27, 2003 and closing date of May 23, 2003. The special solicitations focus on the following topic areas:
    * Air Pollution Monitoring
    * Safe Buildings and Water Security
    * Technology Solutions for Western USA Environmental Problems

Phase II
    * Contract Solicitation

    * Closes: May 14
    * Grant Application

For FY 2003, the Department of Education (ED) requires electronic applications for all SBIR Phase I and Phase II Grant Program announcements.
