John Alderman, Director of Business Development for Outside The Box, Inc credits the NC Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC) located at the Small Business & Technology Development Center (SBTDC) in Charlotte, N.C. with providing him with valuable information regarding the logistics of responding to federal and DOD solicitations. This information included small business and minority owned business information, Central Contractor Registration, along with insight to federal buying guidelines.
Mr. Alderman stated that "the Charlotte PTAC Counselor was very helpful in making sure that I understood the requirements to do business with federal and state governments. His many years experience as a contracting officer for The United States Air Force makes him an excellent person to speak with for this type of information. Without it, I may still be looking for some of the answers."
