NC Procurement Technical Assistance Center

NC PTAC helps businesses obtain contracts by providing comprehensive assistance in selling products and services to local, state and federal government entities. In program year 2004, the NC PTAC assisted businesses in securing $1.1 billion in contract awards.

The purpose of the NC PTAC is to generate employment and to improve the general economic condition of the state by assisting all North Carolina companies including those eligible for preferential consideration in obtaining and performing under local, state and federal government contracts. You can find out about bidding opportunities by subscribing to PROBID, our electronic bid matching system. This service electronically searches government databases (all electronic bulletin boards where opportunities are posted) and matches your product/service to federal, state and local needs. The results of the daily searches are sent to you by email. Contact your nearest NC PTAC Counselor to learn more.

NOTE: NC PTAC services are made possible by funding provided by the U.S. Department of Defense (Defense Logistics Agency) and the state of North Carolina. Our funding agreement requires the NC PTAC to report our impact. For this reason it is important that clients receiving assistance respond to our semi-annual surveys regarding government contract activity. Your cooperation will allow the NC PTAC to continue to provide no-fee counseling services.
