Annice has over 20 years experience in economic development including managing, and implementing policies and programs promoting public and private sector development in the U.S. and internationally. Her areas of expertise include economic development, project management, technology transfer, environmental management, strategic planning, marketing, and fundraising. Annice joined the SBTDC in 2001 after spending 20 years in Washington, D.C. where she worked for the World Bank on environmental management projects; the French National Agency for Research and Development promoting technology transfer between France and the U.S.; and for a private consulting firm. She has also worked in marketing and sales for an organic cotton apparel manufacturer in Asheville.
Currently, Annice serves as the Vice President of the NC Natural Products Association, and is a board member of the Family Business Forum. Annice was awarded the Executive Director’s Award for Excellence for her work in the natural products sector in 2007. She holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and French Studies from Case Western Reserve and a B.A. in International Relations and French Studies from University of Cincinnati. She also studied at the Sorbonne and Wesleyan University Program in Paris.
