Strategic plans, annual reviews, or applications for loans or grants require a thorough assessment of your market and your industry. As a North Carolina resident or business owner, you have access to NCLIVE, a cooperative-library website providing FREE access to entertainment, education, and business resources.
Log in, and bookmark, NCLIVE using your public or college library ID, and check out e-books, magazines, streaming videos, and business research and intelligence. Business databases, including Hoover’s, Morningstar, One Source, Simply Map, ReferenceUSA, and others can be found by searching Business & Management or Data & Demographics on the home page.
During May, you can register to attend a FREE one-hour webinar developed for business clients and entrepreneurs, on how to Start, Manage and Grow Your Business Using ReferenceUSA. Designed to help you “find the mission-critical information to start, manage and grow a business,” and conducted by librarians, sessions are scheduled throughout the month at different times. You can choose your date and time by registering here.
