Prior to joining the SBTDC as Senior Research Analyst, Deanna Day managed visitor relations at the award-winning, James B. Hunt, Jr. Library, coordinating visits for more than 24,000 guests, ranging from foreign heads-of-state to summer camps and architects. In 2012 she earned the Master of Library and Information Science degree while working as an Executive Assistant for the Mobile, AL City Council and as a Public Relations and Special Projects Coordinator for Burke Memorial Library at Spring Hill College.

Day’s previous professional experience includes product and brand management, business development, market research, training, communications, and supervision, in corporate, government, and library environments. As the Senior Brand Manager for a Fortune 1000 company, she was responsible for a $150 Million portfolio of brands and services, managed multiple employees and collaborated with customers and prospects at 16 manufacturing facilities in a fast-paced, results and data-driven environment.
