Supplier Diversity Workshop for Program Managers and Small Business Liaison Officers
September 15, 2011 | Charlotte: Supplier Diversity Program Managers and Small Business Liaison Officers today face numerous challenges implementing supplier diversity programs (e.g. Interpreting Federal Acquisition Regulations, Understanding Subcontracting Requirements, Applying Federal Preference Programs, eSRS Process Requirements, etc.). The intent of this training session is to provide information that will allow Supplier Diversity Managers and Small Business Liaison Officers at various knowledge levels to build upon and strengthen their Supplier Diversity knowledge base and to apply this knowledge in improving their supplier diversity program. In addition, the format provides an excellent opportunity to build a network with other supplier diversity professionals.

NIH SBIR/STTR Conference

SBIR/STTR Proposal Preparation Workshop
September 13 | Durham: Come join other energy/clean/green technology-based entrepreneurs and small companies who are seeking funding for R&D and plan to submit a SBIR/STTR proposal within the next 12 months. All attendees of this event will receive detailed instructions on how to put the pieces together for SBIR/STTR grant proposals with specific focus on funding opportunities available with the Dept of Energy and National Science Foundation. As an attendee, you will learn how to prepare each component of a proposal, get current information on the SBIR/STTR program and the agency’s proposal submission processes, and learn tools and information necessary to prepare a competitive proposal.
