How much will a website cost me?

The costs of having a website varies from free to thousands of dollars. Below is a table listing most of the costs of having a website. The table is divided into three main options.

The first option is having a promotional website using an ISP as the host. This option is typically the most popular for the average business, because it is inexpensive and offers a lot of flexibility.

The second option is hosting your own promotional website. This option is almost always more expensive than the first. However, companies that want total control of their site and its contents or have a very large site typically will choose this option.

The last option of having an e-commerce website lists the typical additional costs of adding e-commerce to a promotional website.
