About the Presenter

Kim Steffan

Ms. Steffan received her B.A. magna cum laude from Duke University, and her J.D. from UNC School of Law at Chapel Hill. She has been in general practice since 1986, is a past president of the Orange County Bar Association and serves on the District 15B Bar Mentoring Committee assisting young lawyers with professional development. Ms. Steffan writes the monthly “Ask the Lawyer” legal column for the News of Orange County. She received the 2009 Work Life Balance Award presented by the N.C. Association of Women Attorneys.
