NC Global Advantage Forum Honors Representative David Price

The annual NC Global Advantage Forum seeks to engage and convene a broad cross-section of North Carolina leaders to focus on global opportunities in education, economic development, and entrepreneurship. Sponsored by GO Global NC, in partnership with the NC Coalition for Global Competitiveness, the event also highlights North Carolina’s global engagement success stories.

The 2022 Forum was held on November 10th, 2022 and attracted a full house to share ideas and learn about a broad range of innovative North Carolina projects across agriculture, science, technology, business, and government sectors – engaging thousands of North Carolina citizens with people and organizations from around the globe.

Keynote speaker Karen Levert spoke about her 25-year journey between corporate and entrepreneurial worlds (that included counseling from the SBTDC) that led to her role today as an agricultural technology Venture Partner with Pappas Capital.

A highlight of the Forum was the presentation of the 2022 NC Global Ambassador Award to retiring U.S. Representative David Price. Representing North Carolina’s Fourth District, Price is a recognized leader on US foreign policy, serving as Chairman of the House Democracy Partnership and speaking out for peace in the Middle East and beyond.
