SBA’s All Small Mentor-Protégé Program:

8(a) Mentor-Protégé Business Development Program:

DoD Mentor-Protégé program

Homeland Security Mentor-Protégé program

Department of State Mentor-Protégé program

Department of Transportation Mentor-Protégé program

Department of Energy Mentor-Protégé program

Not all of these agencies participate each year, and there is no guarantee that these organizations will participate in 2020. One popular program that is not available this year is the GSA Mentor-Protégé Program; it is expected to return next year, however.

Historically, these programs have been a way for smaller businesses to benefit from the partnership by gaining access to the resources that the larger partner possesses. And through joint venture arrangements, the larger partner can benefit by gaining access to some set-aside contracts that it would not otherwise be eligible for. If you are interested in learning more about these programs, you can contact your local PTAC counselor.
